TEKNE AND SNYK PRESENTS WORKSHOPS IN INTERACTIVE ART

Are you interested in digital and interactive art? Then you should read the following.

In collaboration with Skive Kunstmuseum TEKNE Production organize two workshops on interactive space for performers of visual arts, media and sound artist and students of design, film, media and art. This happens from Monday 9 February to Friday 14 February 2009 at CAVI’s premises at Åbogade 34 d, Århus N.

The 7 February SNYK - Skive New Art Museum  presents the exhibition NO PLACE TO HIDE - an exhibition of digital and interactive arts. Following the exhibition TEKNE Production hold in conjunction with SNYK the two workshops: YOU CAN RUN and LEAVING TRACES. The tworkshops introduces the parricipants to interactive technologies in art, and the participants have the opportunity to develop and work and concepts.

International workshops for artists by the end of 2008: ‘You Can Run’ and ‘Leaving Traces’

In relation to the exhibition No Place To Hide at Skive Kunstmuseum at the end of 2008 there will be two internationally oriented workshops: ‘You Can Run’ led by Kassandra Wellendorf and Simon Løvind, and ‘Leaving Traces’ led by Han Halewijn (NL).

The two workshops are primarily targeted at professional artists and seeks to experiment with and produce prototypes of works of art, where interactivity plays an important role.

The two workshops takes place at Katrinebjerg, partly at CAVI.
